PumasCP

Welcome to the documentation for PumasCP. Use the navigation bar on the left to browse the documentation. Sections are split based on the area of the application that they cover.

To install the application head to the Desktop Downloads page and download the latest version for your operating system. All release notes are listed on the Release Notes page if are updating from a previous version and wish to see what has changed.

Software Validation

The application includes a built-in suite of validation studies that can be used to confirm that your installation of PumasCP generates the results expected by the developers. They can be found within the PumasCP Validation Suite study on the home screen. Open this study, navigate to the reports section and download the Word document version of the available report.

To compare your generated report against the reference, open the in-browser Validation Report Check. Pick the reference version that matches your PumasCP installation, upload your generated .docx file, and the tool will compare every table cell and show which cells differ. The comparison runs entirely in your browser — your report is not uploaded anywhere. You can then export a PDF of the results using your browser's print dialog.

If you prefer to compare manually, use the download link next to the version selector to fetch the reference .docx.

Ignore system specific information at the end of the document since that will differ between systems (the validation check tool skips this automatically).

Note that any modifications to the configuration of the datasets or tasks in this validation study will result in differing report results. If you happen to make changes then restart the application and those changes will be discarded and regeneration of the report should produce the expected results.
